Today is a mark of respect for the achievement that was the apology to the Stolen Generations, and a reminder to the broader public, to the country's politicians and policymakers, that sorry is more than a word, and that communities, Stolen Generations focused community and peak body organizations, and government politicians and policymakers must continue to work together in order to achieve key outcomes for the Stolen Generations.
