Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

The purpose of the QIP is to help providers self-assess their performance in delivering quality education and care, and to plan future improvements. The QIP also helps regulatory authorities with the assessment of the service. A QIP must:

  • include an assessment by the approved provider of the quality of the practices of the service against the NQS and the National Law and Regulations
  • identify areas that the approved provider considers may require improvement. 
  • include a statement of philosophy for the service.
